Responsibility
- Create detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit) based on engineering specifications and sketches.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, or local regulations) and project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design intent and incorporate feedback into revisions.
- Develop fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings with precise dimensions, annotations, and material specifications.
- Review and validate drawings for accuracy, completeness, and feasibility before submission.
- Maintain organized digital archives of all project drawings and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Stay updated on emerging drafting technologies and software tools to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Assist in site visits or inspections to verify as-built conditions and resolve discrepancies between drawings and field conditions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience (minimum 2+ years) as a Drafter or CAD Technician, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or inspection industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Revit) and familiarity with BIM tools.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, including orthographic projections, tolerances, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and spatial reasoning skills to ensure error-free drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with engineers, clients, and contractors.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) is a plus; Indonesian language skills are beneficial.
