Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive testing and inspection of precision engineering components to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Operate and calibrate advanced testing equipment, including CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), optical comparators, and other metrology tools.
- Document test results, deviations, and anomalies in detailed reports for review by engineering and quality teams.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams to identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform first-article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks to validate product integrity at various stages of manufacturing.
- Maintain and update testing procedures, work instructions, and quality control documentation in accordance with ISO standards.
- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methodologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in precision engineering, semiconductor, or aerospace industries.
- Proficient in using metrology tools such as CMM, micrometers, calipers, and surface roughness testers.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management software.
