Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems for large-scale commercial, residential, and industrial projects in Bali.
- Conduct detailed load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulations to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to integrate HVAC solutions seamlessly into building designs.
- Ensure compliance with international codes (ASHRAE, LEED, etc.) and local regulations for mechanical systems.
- Oversee the selection and specification of HVAC equipment, including chillers, VRF systems, and ventilation units.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and on-site teams during installation and commissioning.
- Develop and implement maintenance protocols and energy-saving strategies to enhance system longevity and sustainability.
- Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification (PE, CEng, or equivalent) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in HVAC system design, with a focus on tropical or humid climates.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC-specific software (e.g., Carrier HAP, Trane Trace, EnergyPlus).
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards, LEED certification, and green building practices.
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects from concept to completion, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and occasionally internationally.
