Responsibility
- Develop accurate and detailed 2D/3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit).
- Interpret and translate engineering specifications, sketches, and redlines into precise technical drawings.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Review and update existing drawings to reflect design changes, revisions, or as-built conditions.
- Maintain organized digital libraries of drawings, ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
- Adhere to company and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) for drafting and documentation.
- Provide technical support to production teams by clarifying design intent and resolving drawing discrepancies.
- Generate and distribute Bill of Materials (BOM) and other supporting documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in technical drafting, preferably in engineering or fabrication industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) with a strong portfolio of work.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and industry-specific drafting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex technical specifications.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international clients and teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
