Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical and motion control systems for semiconductor equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., SEMI, ISO).
- Oversee the integration of motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs to achieve high-precision motion control for semiconductor manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with R&D, mechanical, and software teams to define system requirements and architectural specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test protocols, to ensure traceability and reproducibility.
- Conduct risk assessments, failure mode analysis (FMEA), and root-cause investigations to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships for sourcing high-quality electrical and motion control components.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in motion control, automation, and semiconductor equipment to drive competitive advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in motion control are a plus.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in electrical and motion control system design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the semiconductor or precision engineering industry.
- Proven expertise in servo motors, stepper motors, encoders, PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Beckhoff), and motion control algorithms (e.g., PID, feedforward control).
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical) and simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, LabVIEW).
- Experience with industry standards such as SEMI S2/S8, CE, UL, and ISO 13485 for semiconductor or medical equipment.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex systems on time and within budget.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve high-level technical challenges.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Indonesian, Mandarin) are advantageous.
