Responsibility
- Design and develop hydraulic systems for marine and offshore cranes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new crane designs and modifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers to integrate hydraulic systems into overall crane designs.
- Perform simulations and testing to validate the performance and safety of hydraulic systems under various operational conditions.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and maintenance manuals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic system issues, providing technical support during manufacturing and installation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in hydraulic technology and marine engineering to drive innovation.
- Ensure all designs meet environmental and safety regulations for marine and offshore applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in designing hydraulic systems, preferably in the marine or offshore industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic principles, fluid dynamics, and control systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink).
- Experience with industry standards and regulations (e.g., DNV, ABS, ISO).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to relocate or work in Bali, with occasional travel to project sites.
