Responsibility
- Develop accurate and detailed technical drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and convert them into precise working drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders to maintain accuracy and alignment with project goals.
- Organize and manage drawing files, documentation, and revisions to ensure version control and easy retrieval.
- Assist in preparing bill of materials (BOM) and other technical documentation as required.
- Identify potential design flaws or inconsistencies and propose practical solutions.
- Meet project deadlines by efficiently prioritizing tasks and managing workload.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Drafter or Technical Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing AutoCAD proficiency.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) and familiarity with other drafting tools such as Revit or SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, dimensions, and annotations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error-free drawings.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction, manufacturing, or engineering principles is a plus.
