Responsibility
- Lead the conceptual and schematic design phases for mixed-use, residential, and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Develop high-quality design presentations, including 3D visualizations, renderings, and technical drawings, to communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers, urban planners, and sustainability experts to integrate functional, aesthetic, and eco-friendly solutions into designs.
- Oversee design documentation and ensure compliance with local building codes, international standards, and Aedas’ design guidelines.
- Conduct site visits and feasibility studies to assess project constraints and opportunities, providing actionable insights for design adaptation.
- Mentor junior designers and coordinate with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines and deliverables.
- Stay abreast of emerging design trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate innovative approaches into projects.
- Participate in client meetings and workshops to refine design briefs and present progress updates.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in architectural design, with a focus on concept and design development for large-scale projects.
- Proven track record in mixed-use, infrastructure, or urban design projects (preferably in Southeast Asia or similar markets).
- Professional registration or licensure as an Architect (or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong hand-sketching and digital visualization skills to convey design intent effectively.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with sustainable design principles (LEED, WELL, or Green Mark certification is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
