Responsibility
- Lead the architectural design and development of state-of-the-art data centres, ensuring alignment with global best practices and client requirements.
- Provide subject matter expertise on data centre infrastructure, including cooling systems, power distribution, and structural integrity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize energy efficiency, scalability, and sustainability in data centre designs.
- Oversee compliance with international standards (e.g., Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ISO 27001) and local regulations.
- Develop and maintain architectural guidelines, blueprints, and technical documentation for data centre projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for new data centre developments.
- Mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years specializing in data centre projects.
- Proven expertise in data centre infrastructure, including cooling, power, and structural systems.
- Familiarity with international standards (e.g., Uptime Institute Tier Certification, TIA-942, ISO 27001).
- Strong knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) and CAD software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
- Experience with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient solutions for data centres.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
