Responsibility
- Develop and implement advanced technical methods and tools to improve elevator and escalator performance, safety, and efficiency.
- Create and update engineering standards, protocols, and best practices for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct rigorous inspections and audits of existing systems to identify areas for enhancement and innovation.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for technical staff, ensuring alignment with new standards and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, production, and field operations) to integrate improvements into real-world applications.
- Analyze performance data and failure reports to drive data-driven decision-making and preventive solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in vertical transportation systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to field engineers and clients for complex system issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in elevator/escalator systems, technical development, or a similar engineering role.
- Proven expertise in system design, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for vertical transportation equipment.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards (ISO, EN, ASME) and local regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis platforms (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB).
- Exceptional communication and training abilities to mentor technical teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for site inspections, training, or client meetings across Bali.
