Responsibility
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers through rigorous market research and vendor assessments.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive supplier database, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure cost-competitive and high-quality materials.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to align procurement strategies with technical specifications.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze market trends, material costs, and supply chain risks to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical procurement, sourcing, or supplier management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Familiarity with ISO standards, quality control processes, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills (e.g., Indonesian) are a plus.
