Responsibility
- Conduct thorough on-site inspections of manufacturing processes, materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
- Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures, documentation, and reporting systems to track performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and logistics, to identify and address quality-related issues.
- Perform root cause analysis for defects or non-conformities and propose sustainable solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier quality to ensure raw materials and components meet required standards.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
- Train and mentor staff on quality standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics sectors.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
- Proficient in root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, 8D Problem Solving).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Ability to work independently and in a team, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
