Responsibility
- Lead the design and implementation of machine learning models for e-commerce search algorithms.
- Optimize search ranking, relevance, and personalization to improve user experience and conversion rates.
- Mentor and guide a team of ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data science, and engineering) to align technical solutions with business goals.
- Develop scalable ML infrastructure to support high-traffic e-commerce platforms.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in search, NLP, and recommendation systems.
- Drive A/B testing and data-driven decision-making to refine search performance.
- Ensure high availability and performance of search systems in a global environment.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning, with a focus on search, recommendation, or NLP.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++, with experience in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven track record of leading ML projects from conception to deployment.
- Experience with large-scale data processing and distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation in e-commerce.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with global teams.
- Experience in e-commerce or search-related industries is a plus.
