Responsibility

  • Lead the design, implementation, and administration of sales compensation plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and market trends.
  • Oversee the onboarding of new sales team members into the compensation system, providing training and support as needed.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in compensation structures.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Sales leadership to ensure compensation plans are competitive, compliant, and cost-effective.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, reports, and dashboards to track compensation metrics and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide a team of compensation analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and innovation in compensation strategies.
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in compensation administration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification (e.g., CCP, CSP) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales compensation, incentives, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) and compensation management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing effective sales compensation plans that drive performance and retention.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and process improvement.
  • Experience working in a global or remote team environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and technologies is a bonus.
