Responsibility
- Process and verify tax assessments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and national regulations.
- Prepare and submit tax payments on time to avoid penalties, delinquencies, or legal issues.
- Coordinate with government agencies (e.g., BIR, LRA) for property titling, transfers, and registrations.
- Maintain organized records of tax filings, payments, and titling documents for audit and reference purposes.
- Monitor deadlines for tax obligations and titling requirements, proactively addressing any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Property Management) to align tax and titling processes with project timelines.
- Generate reports on tax liabilities, payments, and titling status for management review.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, property regulations, and titling procedures to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax compliance, property titling, or real estate administration.
- Strong knowledge of local tax laws, property registration processes, and government agency requirements.
- Proficient in using tax software, ERP systems, or property management tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial and legal documents.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet critical deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a project-based environment.
