Responsibility
- Lead and oversee all tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns for corporate, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize financial performance and minimize tax liabilities for clients and the organization.
- Provide expert tax advisory services to internal teams and external clients, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, and assess their impact on business operations and financial strategies.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct tax risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate potential financial and reputational risks.
- Prepare and present tax reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide junior tax team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in tax compliance, planning, or advisory roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations, as well as international tax principles (experience with cross-border taxation is a plus).
- Proven ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide strategic recommendations.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
