Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with Indonesian tax laws.
- Conduct thorough tax research to identify opportunities for tax savings and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting of tax-related transactions.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
- Assist in tax audits by liaising with external auditors and tax authorities, providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance.
- Maintain organized records of all tax-related documents, receipts, and correspondence.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on tax implications of business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax compliance, reporting, or advisory roles, preferably in Indonesia.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes.
- Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local tax platforms).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and apply them to real-world scenarios.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
