Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with Indonesian tax laws (e.g., PPN, PPh, etc.).
- Monitor and ensure timely payment of tax liabilities, including withholding taxes, VAT, and corporate income tax.
- Conduct tax audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and mitigate risks.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning and optimization strategies to minimize liabilities while ensuring compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to integrate tax considerations into financial reporting and budgeting processes.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and communicate their impact to stakeholders.
- Assist in tax-related documentation for internal and external audits.
- Support the development of tax policies and procedures to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (or related field).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax compliance, preferably in Indonesia.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (e.g., UU PPh, PPN, and local regulations).
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., e-SPT, DJP Online) and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Certification (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA, or CA) is a plus.
