Responsibility
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Support tax compliance by preparing and filing VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory returns accurately and on time.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial information and provide insights for budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist in payroll processing and ensure accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for all financial transactions and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or tax compliance, preferably in a corporate or SME environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or local ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work with large datasets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
