Responsibility
- Execute day-to-day tax operations in accordance with company SOPs and Indonesian tax laws.
- Implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and ensure compliance.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns, including VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory filings.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and advise management on potential impacts to the business.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to ensure tax-efficient business processes.
- Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Maintain organized tax records and documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to tax provisions and reconciliations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax compliance, tax planning, or a similar role (Big 4 or multinational company experience is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., Accurate, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal).
- Certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A/B/C) is highly desirable.
