Responsibility
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with Indonesian GAAP and tax regulations.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including consolidation and variance analysis.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position while ensuring full compliance with local laws.
- Manage audits (internal and external) and coordinate with auditors to provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.
- Mentor and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or tax, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, GAAP, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia for stakeholder interactions.
- Experience with audit coordination, tax planning, and financial compliance.
- High ethical standards and attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
