Responsibility
- Lead the review and optimization of tax processes and standards across all company entities to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with local and international tax laws.
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to minimize liabilities and maximize financial efficiency.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and operational teams to align tax strategies with overall business objectives.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate filings.
- Identify and mitigate tax risks by conducting regular audits and assessments of tax-related activities.
- Provide expert guidance and training to internal teams on tax-related matters, including compliance, reporting, and best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, and advise senior management on their potential impact.
- Maintain strong relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or ADIT) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management, compliance, or a related role, with a strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws.
- Proven track record of optimizing tax processes and implementing strategic tax planning initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax regulations and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tax-related activities.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
