Responsibility
- Lead and manage tax engagements for a diverse range of clients, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations.
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to optimize clients' tax positions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated tax solutions and enhance client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate their impact to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters.
- Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals and client presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax advisory, with a focus on corporate tax, international tax, or transfer pricing.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues.
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
