Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team of bookkeepers to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage client relationships, addressing inquiries and providing exceptional service.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate smooth audits and tax filings.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in bookkeeping operations.
- Monitor and reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and present financial reports to clients and senior management.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent client management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in outsourcing or remote team management is a plus.
