Note: This role is open to candidates based in Bali (Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung) with the flexibility to work remotely or hybrid.
Responsibility
- Monitor and record all incoming revenue, ensuring accurate and timely posting of receipts in the accounting system.
- Verify and reconcile customer payments, deposits, and bank transactions to maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable, including unapplied payments, short payments, and billing errors.
- Prepare and issue customer invoices, credit memos, and statements in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to address billing inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
- Generate regular reports on accounts receivable aging, cash flow, and revenue trends for management review.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Maintain organized and secure documentation of all financial transactions and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable, general accounting, or financial operations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Experience in the retail, e-commerce, or lifestyle industry is advantageous.
