Stella International is seeking a meticulous and strategic Tax Deputy Supervisor to join our dynamic accounting team in Bali. Responsibility
- Oversee and ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports in compliance with Indonesian tax laws.
- Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize compliance.
- Review and validate tax calculations, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding taxes, to ensure accuracy.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities to resolve tax-related inquiries and audits.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company’s financial operations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile tax accounts and ensure alignment with general ledger entries.
- Provide training and guidance to junior staff on tax procedures, software, and best practices.
- Prepare documentation and support for tax disputes or objections, if applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or deputy role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, including PPN, PPh, and local tax laws.
- Proficient in tax software (e.g., e-SPT, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts clearly.
- Experience working with multinational companies or in a fast-paced corporate environment is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
