We are seeking a motivated Associate or Senior Associate in Tax to join our dynamic team in a role that offers professional growth, semi-annual performance evaluations, and exposure to international tax compliance.

Responsibility
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns, computations, and filings in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Assist in tax planning and advisory for multinational clients, including structuring transactions to optimize tax efficiency.
- Conduct tax research on complex issues, including transfer pricing, withholding taxes, and double taxation agreements.
- Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and clients to resolve queries and ensure timely submissions.
- Support financial reporting by analyzing tax provisions, deferred tax liabilities, and reconciliation of tax accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tax risks and opportunities for business expansion.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends to provide accurate advice.
- Assist in due diligence reviews for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualifications (CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or MICPA) are a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in tax advisory, compliance, or corporate taxation (for Associate); 4+ years (for Senior Associate).
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (PPh, PPN, etc.) and familiarity with international tax principles.
- Experience with tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local tax platforms) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Proven track record of attention to detail and accuracy in tax calculations and reporting.
- Willingness to relocate or work remotely from Bali (Kuta/Badung) with occasional travel to HQ in Kuala Lumpur.
