Responsibility
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (corporate, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize financial efficiency.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to ensure compliance and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and update internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and tax, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
