Responsibility
- Oversee and manage tax accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international tax laws.
- Prepare, review, and file tax returns for corporate entities, ensuring timely submission and adherence to regulatory deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, and Operations) to gather necessary documentation and data for tax filings and audits.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required tax-related documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
- Identify tax risks and opportunities, recommending strategies to optimize tax positions and minimize liabilities.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring GMâs compliance with evolving requirements.
- Develop and maintain tax compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations, as well as international tax principles.
- Proficient in tax software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting audits and working with external tax advisors or consultants.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity and accountability.
