Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents for accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to identify discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems for financial documents.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting tasks as assigned by the accounting team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably as an Accounting Assistant.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
