Responsibility
- Ensure full compliance with local, national, and international tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate tax records, filings, and documentation.
- Coordinate with government agencies (e.g., tax authorities, regulatory bodies) to resolve compliance issues.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts.
- Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Operations) to align tax strategies with business objectives.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and optimize tax processes.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in tax compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting, or financial auditing.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations (experience with international tax compliance is a plus).
- Proficiency in tax software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
