Responsibility
- Oversee and prepare accurate tax reporting, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax filings in compliance with Indonesian regulations.
- Lead statutory filings and ensure timely submission of all required documentation to government authorities.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits, liaising with auditors to address findings and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation, policies, and procedures to align with local and international standards.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
- Guide and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and HR teams to ensure seamless integration of tax and compliance strategies.
- Assess and manage insurance requirements, ensuring adequate coverage for corporate assets and operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax compliance, reporting, and statutory filings, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, regulations, and filing procedures.
- Proven experience managing audits and liaising with tax authorities, auditors, and legal advisors.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in tax software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
