Responsibility
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports (PPN, PPh, etc.) in compliance with Indonesian tax laws.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tax records, including invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities (e.g., DJP) as required.
- Monitor changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company policies.
- Assist in payroll tax calculations and ensure timely withholding and remittance.
- Reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with the accounting team.
- Support financial audits by providing documentation and clarifications related to tax matters.
- Develop and improve internal tax processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (or equivalent).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in tax administration, accounting, or a related field (fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., e-Faktur, e-SPT) and MS Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (PPN, PPh 21/23, etc.) and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage deadlines effectively.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
- Certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A/B) is a plus.
