Responsibility
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize financial efficiency for the company.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws and international regulations, including VAT, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to conduct tax audits and reviews, addressing any discrepancies or risks.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management on tax implications of business decisions, mergers, or expansions.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the companyâs financial strategies.
- Optimize transfer pricing policies and intercompany transactions to align with global best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Masterâs degree or CPA/CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations, including experience with local tax authorities.
- Proven track record of developing tax strategies that reduce liabilities and improve financial performance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and tax software (e.g., e-SPT, DJP Online).
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
