In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring accurate and compliant global financial reporting, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless accounting processes. Responsibility
- Prepare and consolidate global financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards.
- Manage General Ledger (GRN) entries and ensure accuracy in intercompany transactions.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support audit preparations by compiling documentation and liaising with internal/external auditors.
- Develop and maintain financial controls to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with regional teams to standardize accounting procedures across global entities.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance in multi-jurisdictional reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with exposure to global financial reporting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and tax compliance for multinational corporations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with intercompany reconciliations and consolidation processes.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); additional languages are advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment with tight deadlines.
