Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Process multi-currency transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with local and international standards.
- Utilize Xero and other accounting software to streamline financial operations and generate insightful reports.
- Assist with payroll processing, including tax calculations, deductions, and employee payment disbursements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Identify discrepancies, resolve accounting issues, and implement process improvements for efficiency.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring audit readiness at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, with expertise in Xero or similar cloud-based accounting platforms.
- Proven experience with payroll processing, tax compliance, and multi-currency transactions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high-volume transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Google Sheets.
- Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with global teams.
