Responsibility
- Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes, improve internal controls, and mitigate risks.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
- Manage customs brokerage and logistics-related financial transactions, ensuring adherence to import/export regulations.
- Conduct financial audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with a preference for candidates with exposure to logistics or customs brokerage.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and auditing principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
