Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns (PPN, PPh, and other applicable taxes) in compliance with Indonesian tax laws.
- Maintain and update tax records, ensuring all documentation is organized and readily accessible for audits.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions to avoid penalties.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and verify its accuracy for tax purposes.
- Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to resolve discrepancies or inquiries.
- Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to optimize the company’s tax position.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certification (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a corporate or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws, including VAT (PPN), income tax (PPh), and withholding tax.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zahir, Accurate, or SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) for effective communication with stakeholders.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and a commitment to ethical standards in financial management.
