Responsibility
- Lead and manage all financial accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and month-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding tax filings.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with local and international accounting standards (PSAK/IFRS).
- Act as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax authorities, and financial institutions to facilitate audits and resolve inquiries.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize the company’s financial performance while ensuring full compliance.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements in compliance with labor regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain strong internal controls and risk management protocols to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, Brevet A/B/C) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting and tax management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory to communicate with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and interpret financial documents.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, PSAK, and IFRS standards.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
