Responsibility
- Develop and implement credit policies, procedures, and evaluation criteria to minimize financial risk.
- Oversee the accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collections and reducing delinquency rates.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for new and existing clients, recommending credit limits and terms.
- Design and execute effective collection strategies, including negotiation with delinquent accounts.
- Monitor aging reports and provide regular updates to senior management on collection performance.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes and improve client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and company policies.
- Train and mentor the collections team to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management, collections, or accounts receivable.
- Proven expertise in credit evaluation, risk assessment, and financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of collection strategies, debt recovery, and legal procedures.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Indonesian financial regulations is a plus.
