Responsibility
- Prepare and file accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports in compliance with Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Compile and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax payments and returns (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax).
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and verify the accuracy of accounting records.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts to the business.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications to external auditors or tax authorities.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring all documentation is properly archived.
- Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional certification (e.g., Brevet A/B, CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in tax accounting, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and accounting standards (PSAK).
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Zahir, Accurate, SAP) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple deadlines.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
