Responsibility
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage and file corporate tax returns (PPH, PPN, etc.) accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.
- Conduct tax planning and advisory to optimize the company’s tax position while minimizing risks.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities (e.g., DJP) for audits, inquiries, and resolutions.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or efficiency improvements.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and accounting standards, implementing necessary adjustments to processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation; a professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA, or Brevet A/B/C) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax accounting, financial reporting, or a related field, preferably in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws (PPH, PPN, PPh 21/23, etc.) and familiarity with e-Faktur, e-SPT, and other DJP systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a contract-based role.
