Responsibility
- Perform preventive maintenance on system hardware to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Execute repair works on system spare parts, including replacement, calibration, and testing.
- Collaborate with project teams to install, configure, and deploy new hardware systems.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes for compliance and reference.
- Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware-related inquiries and issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance and repair tasks.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in system hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, servers, networking devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for hardware analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Certifications in hardware maintenance (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus.
