Responsibility
- Lead the research, development, and testing of high-performance waterproof coating formulations for diverse applications.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize material compositions for durability, flexibility, and environmental resistance.
- Conduct rigorous laboratory and field testing to validate product performance under tropical and extreme conditions.
- Develop technical specifications and application guidelines for clients and internal teams.
- Provide expert technical support to sales and project teams during client engagements.
- Monitor industry trends and incorporate innovative materials (e.g., nano-coatings, eco-friendly polymers) into product lines.
- Ensure compliance with international standards (ASTM, ISO) and local regulations for waterproofing solutions.
- Troubleshoot application issues and propose corrective measures to enhance product reliability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or Civil Engineering with a focus on coatings/polymers.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in waterproofing, sealants, or protective coatings development.
- Proven expertise in formulation chemistry and testing methodologies for waterproof membranes.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and their interaction with waterproofing systems.
- Experience with laboratory equipment (rheometers, tensile testers, weathering chambers).
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ASTM C836, EN 13967) for waterproofing products.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) for technical documentation and stakeholder communication.
