Responsibility
- Install, configure, and commission automated machinery, robotic systems, and control panels in compliance with technical specifications and safety protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and calibration of automation equipment to prevent downtime and extend operational lifespan.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems using advanced troubleshooting tools.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to upgrade or modify existing systems for improved performance and efficiency.
- Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications in detailed technical logs for compliance and reference.
- Train operators and staff on the safe and effective use of automated machinery and control systems.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA) and company policies for quality, safety, and environmental sustainability.
- Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and recommend innovations to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Automation Technician, Maintenance Engineer, or similar role in industrial settings.
- Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) and familiarity with SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and servo systems, as well as motor controls and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Certifications in industrial automation (e.g., TÜV, Festo, or vendor-specific) are a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintenance.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
