Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of civil engineering projects to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Document inspection findings, including photographs, measurements, and detailed reports, to provide clear and actionable feedback to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to address deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor construction progress and verify that materials and workmanship meet the required quality standards.
- Perform site assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to enhance safety and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on inspection outcomes and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and compliance documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Certification in construction inspection or quality assurance is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering inspection, construction supervision, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools, testing equipment, and documentation software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety protocols in construction sites.
