Responsibility
- Manage, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Administer and troubleshoot network systems, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
- Automate routine IT tasks using scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to improve efficiency.
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and system updates.
- Provide technical support to end-users and resolve hardware/software issues promptly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy and integrate new technologies.
- Document system configurations, policies, and procedures for compliance and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a System Administrator or IT Support Specialist.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration and virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
