Responsibility
- Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to procure necessary items and negotiate favorable terms.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to identify and address any shortages or excesses.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of reports related to supply chain activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their supply needs and provide appropriate support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to supply chain management.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to supply activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing, transport, or logistics environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with suppliers and team members.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
