Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure high-quality materials at competitive prices.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase orders, contract agreements, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure timely availability of inventory.
- Maintain and update supplier databases, tracking performance metrics and compliance with company standards.
- Liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers to facilitate clear communication and resolve any procurement-related issues.
- Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analyses and supplier evaluations, to management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing practices, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or agro-products.
- Fluency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain supplier relationships.
- Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, logistics, and inventory management best practices.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
