Responsibility
- Perform manual handling, sorting, and organizing of print products to prepare for distribution.
- Operate strapping and packing machinery to secure products for safe transportation.
- Inspect print materials for quality and accuracy before packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels of packing materials and report shortages to supervisors.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling, packing, and dispatching print products.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
- Proven experience in mailroom operations, warehousing, or print production is highly desirable.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 20-25 kg) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of packing machinery and tools (training provided for specific equipment).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with colleagues and supervisors.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required.
- Familiarity with workplace safety protocols and commitment to adhering to them.
